Itinerary for 5 day intensive Classes

5 day intensive trainings
are just that, intensive.

Please be flexible with ending times. We do not end a class unless everything has been finished, resolved or completed for each person

Day 1: begins usually around 8:30 and ends approximately 6:00 pm

Forearm techniques, ancient dance and movement exercises

Day 2: 9:00am to 6:00 pm

Practice hands on time
Principles of the huna
Dance

Day 3: 9:00 am to 4 pm
Dinner break
Return: 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm
Full Body Demonstration

Day 4: 9:00 am to 4 pm
Dinner Break
Return: 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm
Rites of Passage Ceremony

Day 5: 9:00 am to 6:30 pm
Full Exchange & Closure

Retreat Itinerary

Residential retreats are arranged approximately
once a year!

Lomi is also about self care and detoxing- our meals will be planned accordingly.

These  retreats are for the serious minded student who wants to continue their education in hawaiian spirituality and lomilomi.

We live Ohana style - community

Retreats may run from 6 days to 9 days depending on location.

  1. Everyday we begin with yoga and meditation at approximately 7-7:30 am
  2. Breakfast follows
  3. Classroom lecture time
  4. Principles of the huna
  5. Ancient Dances and Chant
  6. Sound healing discussion and exercises
  7. Breath Exercises - Ha breath of life
  8. The days are full and we are often working into the evening every day.
  9. Hands on Forearm techniques and joint movements
  10. Pule
  11. There is one day of silence (minimum)
  12. Respect for the aina
  13. Many students love to practice into the evenings. (Optional)
  14. The power of intention
  15. Compassionate Touch Exercises
  16. Quiet time throughout the retreat is given to reflect and go inward
  17. Meals are included. Healthy, Vegetarian primarily
  18. A sacred temple space is set up for our healing work
  19. Ho'oponopono is practiced
  20. Final day class may end around 4-6pm, depending on the retreat. Details are provided upon registration.
