Karen Pualalea Reifinger is a practitioner,
instructor and recognized expert in the field of Hawaiian healing and
spiritual development. Her skills and experience include a spectrum of
traditional and non-traditional approaches to restore physical

personal guide for seekers of deeper empowerment, spirituality and

As founder and director of Huna Mua Wellness in Philadelphia, PA, Karen blends the revered healing arts of Hawaii with state-of-the-art quantum energy technology.
Harry Uhane Jim is Kahuna, healer, teacher and
author of WISE SECRETS OF ALOHA. He was born and raised on Kauai,
Hawaii. He has been doing the work for many years, and has been trained
in the traditional apprentice style by the best known native Kahuna of
the last 7 decades - most gone now. His presentations carry
authenticity and are known for unveiling profound ancient truths with
wit and laughter.
Harry is the father of
five, and teaches, works and lives with his wife Sila in Puna on the
Big Island of Hawaii. For the last six years he and his family
have been living in Clarence, New York. He lectured for Kamehameha
Schools, Buffalo State College,Trocare College, Windemere Institute of
Healing ( Decorah, Iowa), Lilydale Assembly, Buffalo Psychiatric as
well as many bodywork and healing organizations throughout the United
States and Canada.

If you
are seeking a deeper connection that will transform your bodywork and
your life, then lomi might be the shamanic journey you are ready to
take.
Each training includes the forearm techniques that are familiar in Lomilomi in the prone and supine positions. Also included, joint movements & stretches and utilizing the breath for healing!
Participants will learn the ancient Iwa dance "the flight" and some hula movements that aid in the graceful movements you will perform.
Traditionally,
one studies these dances for years, perhaps a lifetime. We, too must
remember to continue this practice beyond our training. Learning proper
and conscious breathing techniques and studying the principles of the
huna are traditional in these trainings.
The retreat style trainings immerse you more fully into the ancient traditions of Ho'oponopono and the huna principles
and include lodging and healthy meals as well as some lomi supplies.

Directions are provided to the retreat site below and will be sent to you once you have submitted your registration and deposit
along with a list of things to bring, how to prepare
and a contract and release form

Suggested Airlines:Continental, American Airlines, Delta, United or US Airways.
Destination:Lihue, Kauai
Transportation: I will be listing shuttle and taxi services in the near future
Most flights arrive between 4:00pm and 10:00 pm from the East Coast. Delta and US Airway
often have the best rates. Round trip airfare directly to Lihue, Kauai is suggested. Fares have ranged from $700 to $1,000 rd trip to Lihue from the East Coast depending on your location.
Taxi fare to the
retreat may be $30- $60 one way.
Car rental and carpooling with others is recommended. The drive from the airport is 20 miles or approximately 30 minute to our locations.
Once I know the arrival times of participant I will send an email and you can coordinate a shared ride to reduce your costs if that sounds appealing.
Directions to Retreat Location from Lihue Airport:
From the Lihue airport, go right onto Hwy. 51 (Kuhio Highway), which
will take you through the picturesque town of Kapaa, and continue past
Anahola until you reach "mile marker" 19.
The intersection just beyond
is Kapuna Road. Turn left and travel approximately 1/4 mile to the sign
with a tree on it, "Hale Luana," on the fencepost, which will be 4680
Kapuna Road. (If you get to the cul de sac, you've gone too far.)
Park to the right of either house in
the designated parking spaces.
Cancellation Policy
No Refunds if cancellation is requested within 45 days of the retreat due to the nature of commitment for all expenses involved.
Cancellations prior to 45 days will be prorated depending on method of payment received.
In the event of a personal medical emergency, we will
do our best to find a replacement, but cannot guarantee that placement,
in order for you to receive a prorated refund.
In the event the training is canceled by the host all monies
will be refunded.
